all shall be well.

not that it gave me much satisfaction. in fact i got to staple my essay together twice today. woke up early and printed it at home. right before i had to leave the house, i looked at the question paper again and realized that i had to number my pages and the parts of my essay. which of course, i had to miss out. rushed to school on a bus that was so crowded you'd think everyone had something as important as handing in a 30% essay at 9.30am to do. had some time to reprint my essay, which i did, and then queued for what seemed like half an hour to get to the student counter to actually hand it in. and standing in the queue and seeing all the faces of my peers brought the inferiority complex to the surface again, what with feeling crappy about my essay, its rather lame title, and a very 平凡-looking cover page.

but it is over and there is no point thinking about it! i can only hope i don't get a certain prof as marker because i'm afraid my poor paper will be shredded to pieces. the lecture after the harrowing handing-in of the essay was spent playing ovenbreak on tang's iphone and looking at kate spade bags online. but the highlight of the day is that the afternoon lecture was cancelled and so i went to j8 and (finally) bought new contacts. and these as well:

how adorable are my new bunny slippers?? and they are so warm too. if i continue walking barefoot every night on the marble floor in my house i'll catch a chill and die before 50.

and the two movies, well, they were on sale! hepburn is ♥ she is my epitome of classy. and i was deciding between pride&prejudice and finding neverland. i love old english society but this one won out 'cause it has johnny depp. i am so superficial, i know. also, i love peter pan but i haven't gotten around to reading j.m. barrie's so if anyone buys me a (nice) copy of the book i'll love you. there was mary poppins tooo i so wanted to get it. and the sound of music! you see where my tastes lie; i always suspect i was born into the wrong era.

and speaking of bunnies, i saw Black Bunny hopping around the grass patch as i was walking out to catch the bus this morning. the general rule is: see bunny = good day. not that i've been keeping track to see if my rule is true...but bunnies make me happy (: White Bunny wasn't with it though. i was going to stop and try to feed it some grass--essay reprinting forgotten--but Weird Uncle swimming was staring at me like i was the weird one so i continued on my way.

these days i've been spending money indiscriminately to destress, which is not good because the euphoria lasts only about half a day and then you're back to feeling depressed (plus poor). but i shall watch a movie tonight before doing my readings (:
