one day at a time.
so. week one of school is officially over! my weekends for this semester start from thursday through sunday. long, no? i can even go on a short trip every weekend, if i want to. but of course i can't. i foresee piles of never-ending work and readings to occupy me for my 4 days of supposed rest every week.
but i have drawn up a sort-of plan to fill my days: (i) jog/swim on thursday/friday mornings; (ii) read the textbooks/assigned readings for both public law and equity&trusts; (iii) do my japanese homework and type my japanese notes; (iv) sleep early; (v) prepare for lectures for the following week...i will try my best to stick to this.
three days of school and i am already lost in the fluff of public law, and bored by equity&trusts, but they are still tolerable and i am determined to work hard ('cause the textbooks are so damn expensive and i must mug my money's worth HAH). and i couldn't believe my luck when mar, tang and i were able to form a team together for legal case studies, and i really hope it turns out this way. i really can't think of anyone i would be more comfortable working with. and our grades are at stake here so, no joke.
in other news, i got offered an internship place at wongp. HAPPY (: (: it's during june, and on my 21st birthday i shall be working, but oh well. i wasn't really keen on planning something anyway.
and on a random note, the weather these past few days have been awesome/terrible. awesome when i'm snuggled up in bed; terrible when i'm freezing my fingers off in school or walking through the rain or being forced to roll out of bed in the morning to prepare for school.
focus is the key.
