おいしい食べ物が大好き!

so on tuesday we went out for a lunch buffet on faith's recommendation (and because her mum found the 25% discount coupon in the papers).

x'mas decorations at ps! tang thinks they're ugly, but i think they look okay. i'm not very fussy.

the buffet place is known as Let's Sweets (not very grammatical >.<), on the 4th level of ps, tucked away in the far corner where all the japanese restaurants are.

they have a lunch buffet as well as a tea buffet. for the tea buffet though you can only eat the desserts and not the other foodstuff like pasta, rice, dim sum (yes they have like har gau in a japanese restaurant) etc.

so we had the lunch buffet, although it does not look like it, since i only took photos of the pretty sweets. desserts look more photogenic. but we ate stuff like gyoza, mac&cheese, pizza etc. too. not fantastic, but still normal stuff that i'd eat.

i pretty much love all their desserts. they all come in small portions so you don't get too tired of them, except for the one with the dango shown in the picture below. it's some kind of matcha parfait?mousse? anyway, it's pretty nice and not too sweet, but it's better to share it if you want to try more things.

crepe! we ordered 2. this one's poached caramel apple. which is quite nice, coming from someone who does not like caramel.

all in all, it was a pretty good lunch. the food is not fantastic, but i really like the wide array of desserts, so i'll probably go for the tea buffet the next time. you'll have to be quite the sweet-tooth though. and because we had a discount, the price per person came up to a very reasonable $13.90 per person? the only downside is the time-limit i think. we have to consume everything within an hour. and of course there'll be wastage charges if you take more than you can finish.

lovely friends (:
