Travelogue: Europe in short

I have sadly neglected this blog for a long time. I haven't even written about my adventure-filled Indonesia trip! I would love to write long blog posts about my travels and all, but so much has been happening recently. So maybe some other time. for now, some pictures of europe in short summary (although even the short summary is quite long 'cause we DID SO MANY THINGS):

Our backpacks got progressively bigger and we got more baggage as we went along

We did English things like drink tea and eat scones

And we went into Topshop where RJ went crazy and even I had to join the BBs on the BBB (aka the Bored Boyfriends Bench)

Indeed we do

I went through platform 9 and 3/4

And took the knight bus

And visited Hogwarts!

Went to Harrods and got myself a unicorn (it's true, you can find anything in there!)

Went to Hyde Park

And hung around with friends

Went to Loch Ness and saw Nessie

The romantic Scottish Highlands!

We heard the haunting music of the bagpipes

And met Hamish the Highland cow

Went to the Elephant House cafe, where JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter

Dined by the roadside and canal in Amsterdam

Ate poffertjes (small round Dutch pancakes)

Pedaled through the canals of Amsterdam (that is a very forced smile 'cause it took a lot of effort)

Walked through the red light district and gawked at the window displays

Ate stroopwafels!

Sat everywhere like a true hobo

Relaxed in a hammock!

Slept in a caravan

Picnicked by the lake

Ran around barefooted on the grass

Sunbathed at 9pm

Met a friendly stranger

Tried desperately to dry our laundry

Sat on the floor for 7 hours on the train ride to Munich 'cause we trusted the ticket office lady

Met an awesome day tour guide in Munich

Ate pretzels bigger than our faces

Went to Dachau concentration camp, where chills kept running down my spine

Saw graffiti in the most unreachable places in Berlin

Walked along the 1.3 km stretch of the Berlin Wall twice

Went to the Autostadt in Wolfsburg

Owned a Porsche Boxster for about 3 minutes

Met a hot guy in the Porsche Pavilion! *starry-eyed*

Saw a rainbow while stuck on the train

Had my most expensive meal in Europe in the KaDeWe food hall

Met a cute guy in the Rittersport shop *starry-eyed once more*

Watched the changing of the guard in Denmark and followed the guards around

Chanced upon a sand sculpture festival

Sat and watched a family of swans for 1 and 1/2 hours

They gave us their feathers as a reward for our patience

Went to Tivoli Gardens

And took thrilling rides - this one gave me a funny headache for an hour and made me realise I can never be a stunt pilot

Ate ice cream by a fireplace in summer

We did so many other things! Like club in London, cycle to a village in countryside in Amsterdam, watch a late night movie in Munich, went to a beer garden in the suburbs, etc. Europe was awesome, and I really wished I could go around more. I wonder when I can do this again...
