Home alone chronicles

So today at 5.30 the family left for the airport and I was officially abandoned. At 6.15 Miki decided to remind me of her existence by meowing incessantly and even standing up to tap me on the arm with her paw. I swear, my pet alarm gets earlier and cleverer everyday. Finally got out of bed at 8 and dallied around so much I eventually had no choice but to drive to school.

First I have to say that today was the first time I actually drove the car to school by myself. Usually I drive and mummy then takes over and goes to do her groceries or whatever. So yes. Everything went fine until I reached school and had to find parking. An embarrassing incident occurred which I shall not relate here, but I eventually got to level 4 (15 mins late) and met the ICF group mates. Didn't really discuss much, but we agreed on what to read up on, and I left at about 1.30.

Came home and cleaned the floor. I'm a lazy arse and I do not like housework, but I cannot stand stray hairs lying around even more. If I had my way, no one would be allowed to drop hair in my house. I'm supposed to change the bedsheets as well (as orderedsuggested by mummy), but today's a gloomy day with no sun, so I can't wash and sun the bedsheets anyway #housewifeconsiderations #actuallyjustlazy

Can I also say that I hate annoying kids? I thought I only hated crying babies/kids, but no, I cannot stand annoyingly chirpy kids. I was subject to the noise pollution of The Chirpy Kids like, three floors down, as I ironed my clothes in the pantry this morning. For the first five never-ending minutes, the two kids called their "mummy~!" incessantly in every single octave/note/tune possible, and I wondered why their mummy didn't just march right over and tape up their mouths. Then they burst spontaneously into song for the next five minutes, singing a very out-of-tune and lively version of Majulah Singapura. Very patriotic and filial kids right there.

Oh and even the neighbours are away on holiday or something, 'cause they asked daddy if we could help them collect their daily newspapers and he kindly agreed, conveniently forgetting that he'd be away himself. So now the task has been left to me. Say hi to songping the housekeeper maid domestic goddess.

What I cooked for dinner tonight:
The fish is cooked (even though it doesn't look like it), just so you know. And tbf I decided not to go to the supermarket today #defensive (and now I have to wash a rice cooker and a frying pan and a plate just to cook this. Why.)

...okayokay I'm domestic goddess level one.
