a cat's life.
meet phatface, the fat cat who adopted faith's family.
so my internship ended uneventfully, and i'm back to passing the days like how holidays are meant to be spent. there's nothing like waking up late, watching fluffy dramas, reading cheesy romance paperbacks and dark dystopian novels, eating ice cream, watching anime, and lazing around doing nothing.
but to my credit, i have been attempting to pack my room, albeit very slowly. felt like a sinner the other day when i ruthlessly threw away a 20cm-high stack of notes, accumulated from the 2 semesters of year 2. and that's only half of it. okay i didn't exactly throw them away, i just sorted them to the recycle pile. but still. the amount of paper used T_T i estimate that i probably kill 50 trees in a year, and i predict that after i die i will be reincarnated as a tree and forced to spend my next life being processed into paper and printed on and shredded in a paper shredder or something. or worse, being used as toilet paper. hmm. tang says the firms probably kill forests each year. sometimes the way humans plunder nature's resources and the amount of waste humans generate makes me sad. and yet all of us, knowing it to be wrong, continue doing it. and when the end comes it will just serve us right won't it. and funny how having packed my notes, my desk still doesn't look any less messy. le sigh.
today i attempted to pack my wardrobe, although it was a very small attempt, seeing as how i only took the clothes pile stacked high on my computer chair, refolded them, and sorted them neatly in various stacks on my bed...and my actual wardrobe is still unpacked and too messy and too full for me to squeeze all these stacks in. so i guess i shall just have to stack them back onto my computer chair...until i work up the energy/motivation to just dig out everything from my wardrobe to massively repack.
july shall be a busy month, and i'm determined to enjoy it. first up tomorrow - i shall go attend a high court trial with faith. how exciting. we're just like the people who queue up to get into the courtrooms so we can watch other people air their family's dirty laundry in public. cheap thrill. but no, we are law students! we err, need the exposure. right.
and then...meeting up with various friends. sunday shall be a busy day, what with jap class in the morning, a wedding lunch at a country club in changi, and boomy's birthday dinner with the clique. the kpop music concert is next week! and cousins from canada are visiting. and i'll be flying off to OSAKA with tang and tian at the end of the month! but before that, there's all the planning and preparation.
okay i'm done illustrating what an exciting and busy social life i have. i shall end off with another picture of phatface:
judging you.
if i don't blog, you know i'm too busy enjoying myself, yes? またね~
